Lovely traditional pub restaurant in a beautiful setting. We had pork belly which was very nice and reasonably priced at £15

Had a birthday celebration with 11 adults and four children and we all enjoyed it, a variety of meals requested and all were served within minutes of each other so we could all eat at the same time, food was spot on, the only criticism is the adult meal of Scampi only had five bits of scampi so not really adequate for a adult.

We stayed at the Cowper's Oak Pub on 5th August 2024. They were very accommodating as we were at the Bowl in Milton Keynes and final check in was 10 o'clock. However, they allowed us to check in at 11 o'clock.
I was well impressed with the room. There was Tea and coffee available in the room. I was highly surprised when I saw courtesy slippers they were unexpected. The bed was so comfortable best night sleep in a long time. Ensuite bathroom everything you needed shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
We went for breakfast and I'd never seen anything like it. Fresh orange and apple juice along with cereal, fruit pots and yogurts. English Breakfast was something to die for sausage, egg, black pudding, baked beans, toast either coffee or tea as much as you liked😋.
I would highly recommend a stay at the Cowper's Oak. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Definitely returning.😀

This was located in a beautiful small village. The pub accommodation was superb. It was clean and nicely decorated. Our visit was only marred by the fact that after arrival from a 4 hour drive we could not get an evening meal as the chef wasn't available to cook. As you can imagine, we didn't really want to drive anymore but had to drive another 2 miles to another pub to get an evening meal. Also, after a day out, we arrived back at the pub at around 9 pm, and the bar was closed, so while looking forward to relaxing having a drink, we just had to go to bed.

AMAZING!!! We needed a little break with our dogs, and what a perfect, relaxing stay we had. It's very rare to walk into a bedroom and say WOW! Beautiful room, super clean, dressing gowns, slippers, the most comfy bed we have ever slept in. I always take my own pillow, but I didn't need it. Not just dog friendly but totally welcoming. There was a big dog bed, dog towel and dog bowls. The food is outstanding! I have already recommended to all of my friends and we will be staying again soon.
